SCAFFOLDING DIVISION

With a large number of trained scaffolders, a large quantity of scaffold material, KEMSCAFF is able to handle critical assignments such as shutdowns efficiently. Inspections are carried out on all scaffolds and scaff-tagged prior to handing over to the client.

All scaffolders are routinely deputed on an in-house Scaffold refresher course. Our scaffolders have worked in all types of construction and maintenance assignments, both on-shore and offshore all over the State of Qatar.

All scaffolders from KEMSCAFF are trained to CITB standards, either at a basic level or at an intermediate/advanced level. Specialist CITB instructors conduct these courses.

KEMSCAFF provides comprehensive training to its entire staff in the scaffold techniques and procedures. Safety and other critical aspects are emphasized in our training sessions in the vernacular language of the scaffolders. Crewmembers are assigned to Scaffold Foremen and Supervisors who can communicate in a common language, as far as possible.

KEMSCAFF values the safety and wellbeing of all its employees and consequently employees safety officers who routinely conducts training and refresher programs in safe aspects of scaffolding.

The universally followed color-coded system of scaff tags is rigorously followed to enable all users understand the status of any scaffold system.

All our scaffolding materials are periodically checked and damaged materials are tagged and discarded.

All couplers are routinely cleaned and threads carefully greased. Tubes are inspected for any dents or sign of damage, while ordinary wooden boards are routinely replaced every 24 months – laminated boards are replaced every 36 months or at the first sign of damage.

KEMSCAFF has a comprehensive range of scaffold material. While most industrial scaffold work is carried out using tubes and couplers, system scaffold is also available.

Material is of the highest quality and only vendors who strictly conform to British Standards, as applicable for Tubes and couplers are utilized.

  • Scaffold Boards conform to BS 2482 : Part 1 :1981
  • Ladders conform to BS 2037 : 1982

A spacious 10,000 Sq. Mtr. well equipped warehouse facility is available on Bu-Samra Road behind Abu Nakhla petrol station. All the material in our yard is clearly identified, segregated and methodically stored to facilitate easy movement to & from the sites.
